OUR COACHING IS BASED ON FIVE BASIC PHILOSOPHIES...
1. HABIT CHANGE
This is the principle that drives everything we do, and it’s what makes us different. We take a habit-based approach because we understand growth, development and change come from taking ACTION & practicing daily habits.
2. SIMPLE NUTRITION
We believe eating well isn’t about taking stuff away. It’s about adding good stuff and enabling healthy routines & rituals (adding nourishment & pleasure NOT deprivation & starvation!) We believe in changing small behaviours that make a BIG IMPACT before worrying about the tiny details. And we believe in REAL FOOD – fresh, natural, nutrient packed food!
3. DAILY MOVEMENT
Movement is essential. Purposeful exercise is essential. And finding something you ENJOY is essential. We LOVE activities like strength training, cardio & yoga. But we believe the best exercise is CONSISTENT exercise that you enjoy. Different goals require different strategies and that’s what we help you work through.
4. SELF CARE & RECOVERY
You don’t get fitter & stronger during a workout. You get fitter, stronger & healthier because your body can rebuild between workouts. For most of us with busy and often-stressful lives, recovery won’t happen by accident. You need to help your body do its job, by chasing recovery & focusing on re-building and replenishing so you can give your best.
5. Community – We’re Better TOGETHER!
Having a like-minded community that ‘gets you’ is invaluable – and that’s exactly what you’ll find at myVibe. We’re a group of regular people – but together we achieve amazing things!
